Old downtown Stillwater is known for its small-town charm, and there is no better way to experience it than to spend time in historic downtown Stillwater and its surrounding neighborhoods. Consider the Water Street Inn, the only waterfront lodging available in Stillwater. Group blocks are not available, so book early if you plan to stay there. For neighborhood charm, you might explore the rooms available in the six sister B&B‚ of Stillwater Bed & Breakfast Association.

If standard hotels are a better fit for your stay, there are several nearby options. All the hotels are located off Highway 36 between Country Road 5 and Greeley Street South, and are very close to downtown Stillwater and the Stillwater Public Library. A block of rooms has been set aside at the Country Inn and Suites at the rate of $89.99 for Sunday night, or $149.99 for Saturday. Another block of rooms for Sunday night is at Americas Best Value Inn at a rate of $49.99 – 1 Queen / $54.99 – 1 king / $59.99 – 2 doubles. To take advantage of the discounted rate, contact them for reservations and mention the Gardner/Desmond wedding.
